Lectures venues and date/time
Our lecture meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month from October through June with 2 consecutive lectures in the afternoon and early evening at 2 different locations. The lectures are free for members. Guests are welcome to attend the lectures on an individual basis at a fee of 5 Euro pp/ per lecture.
The lectures are given by qualified speakers of many different nationalities and cover a range of topics of archaeological and historical interest as well as associated subjects. The talks are given in English accompanied by projection of illustrations, photographs, and diagrams.

Afternoon meeting
14:30 at the Museu do Trajo in São Bras Lunch will be arranged prior to the lecture with participants interested in joining . For directions to the venue and map click here |
Evening meeting
18:00 at the Convento de São José in Lagoa Following the lecture the speaker is usually invited to dinner in a local restaurant and participants interested in joining the dinner are welcome to do so. For directions to the venue and map click here |
